Giving Voice 2008

The first Giving Voice event in 2007 was incredibly rewarding, I had to come back in 2008. The student I was paired up with was born cerebral palsy and walked differently than her peers. But that didn’t make her different. For her, she wanted people to see her for her personality and who she was, not by any physical disability she may have. Butterflies were her vision of beauty and symbolizes the transformation she achieves when people interact with her.
